Baule cloth is a type of traditional textile made by the Baule people, who are an ethnic group from the Ivory Coast in West Africa. Baule cloth is typically made from cotton, and it is hand-woven using narrow strips of fabric that are sewn together to create a larger piece of cloth. The cloth is often decorated with intricate patterns and designs that are created using a technique called resist dyeing, in which certain areas of the cloth are treated with a dye-resistant substance before the cloth is dyed. Baule cloth is traditionally worn as clothing, but it is also used for other purposes such as home decor, ceremonial objects, and as a form of currency in some regions.

Most of our furniture items ship via freight to a last-mile delivery service near you. Once it arrives at the terminal, they will reach out to set up a delivery date and time of your choice. Standard delivery is an over-the-threshold drop-off and is always free.
White-glove delivery — including room-of-choice placement and packaging removal — is available for a flat $150 fee, selectable at checkout.
Once items have shipped, we are unable to cancel the order without charging shipping and restocking fees. We do our best to project accurate shipping dates; however, please note that these can change.
