2021 Post of the Year
It is hard to believe tomorrow is New Year's Eve! I don't know about you, but I'm ready to put a bow on 2021. Do not get me wrong, there was plenty of good in this past year. I'm just eager for a fresh start (even if it's only mentally). One of the things I hope carries over into 2022, however, is my creative energy. I've been really motivated to create lately and have been inspired by so many others doing the same. Whether it's artists sculpting new objects or designers styling new rooms, I feel like there is a lot of creative awakening going on right now.
We love keeping this energy going on our social accounts. If you follow us on Instagram, then you've probably noticed we share other homes as well as our own designs. Not only is it a great source of inspiration, it also gives us tremendous joy to see how others bring our products to life in their spaces. Clearly we aren't the only ones! We always find that these posts have the highest interaction, which is why it was no surprise that our top post of 2021 was from our friend Valeria Jacobs of Rebecca & Genevieve.
Look of the Year
There is so much to love about Valeria's living room look. She did an impeccable job creating a laid-back and organic ambiance, layering in both rustic and luxe textures for plenty of visual interest. I also adore how she layered two rugs for a little unconventional touch. This is a great way to add soft textile underfoot, especially if you find a vintage rug that is slightly too small for your footprint.
All in all, Valeria's living room feels like you could spend hours in there, curled up with a good book or hanging with a loved one. With over 15k likes on Instagram, we knew it was time to give the people what they wanted: a shoppable lookbook! Click the product name to shop similar picks from our store.
